| Beechville Lakeside Timberlea School: Grades Primary-5

Ecole Beechville-Lakeside-Timberlea Elementary School is an active and exciting learning environment within the Halifax Regional School Board. Comprised of two adjacent buildings on James Street, it is the home of over 750 students from grades Primary to Five and a staff of over 50. As of September 2004 we have 5 French Immersion classrooms at the grade primary to grade 2 levels.

St. Margaret’s Bay Elementary was first opened and constructed in 1999. There are presently 416 students attending and approximately 31 teachers who currently teach there.

Shatford Memorial Elementary was originally constructed in 1948. Currently, there are 69 students and approximately 6-10 teachers. The open communication policy is offered to students, and their families with any questions or concerns they may have.

Tantallon Elementary School was built in 1980. The enrollment for 2005/2006 is 534 students. There are 22 classroom teachers, 2 resource teachers and 1 learning centre teacher. We have French Immersion classes from primary to grade three.

| Sir John A. MacDonald High School: Grades 10-12
 |
Sir John A. MacDonald High School is located in Hubley, Nova Scotia. It is currently home to grades 10-12 but, will become a junior high by 2006. A new high school is presently under construction. Students from Halliburton Hills, Westwood Hills as well as other homes at the end of Hammonds Plains Road attend this Sir John A. MacDonald.
