Gertrude M. Parker Elementary School: Grades Primary-6

Ms. Gertrude Parker was born in 1892 and her father was the Captain of the Westmount Fire Department. In 1946, Mrs. Parker took over the Sackville telephone switch board and is most remembered for directing household and emergency communications in Sackville until 1963. She is remembered for her helpful, gracious, lady-like character and positive personality.
