Caldwell Road Elementary is an active community based school with an excellent level of participation by parents as well as community members. We educate our students from Primary to Grade 6 and then after, the students will attend Astral Drive Junior High and subsequently move onto Auburn High School.

Ian Forsyth School was named in honor of Ian K. Forsyth when it was built in 1965. Forsyth began teaching in 1925 when he took a position in Dartmouth High School. In 1934 he became the principal of Dartmouth High School. Ian Forsyth died in 1987 but he left behind a collection of contributions to the Dartmouth Education System which are remembered with pride and appreciation.
