Our school is named after a well known land owner and farmer here in the western side of Forest Hills in the centuries old community of Cole Harbour. Robert Kemp Turner's family arrived here in the early part of the nineteenth century.

Sir Robert Borden Junior High School was first built in 1970. Currently, there are 350 students and 25 teachers who attend this junior high daily. At Sir Robert Borden we like to recognize students for contributing to a positive school climate And at the end of the day on Fridays, we draw from the ballots and the winning student receives a $10 movie pass.
